Molly’s has been running since 2001 with the opening of Molly’s Coffee Shop in Broadstone near Poole. Our aim was to offer high quality home made food in a friendly and familiar environment. Our Coffee Shop and Café sits in the very heart of the community and welcomes its customers old and young for coffee and a chat, a light lunch or somewhere to grab a tasty sandwich or baguette to take away.

In 2008, having long outgrown our small premises we moved to a larger location in the middle of the Broadway.  Now seating around 30 customers - with more seating available in the summer months (watch this space!) - and with a separate takeaway area and small but perfectly formed delicattessen we have been able to expand our offering.  Children are well catered for with a separate menu, child size portions with child-size prices to match and an area with mini table and colouring so mum can escape for a chat on our comfy sofas!

We are proud to support the very best food on offer for our local babies - breastfeeding is welcome here - and our accessible toilet is equipped with baby changing facilities and room for a pram.

On opening we received an award from the Broadstone Access Group for our support for those with disabilities having consulted with Lynne Fisher - chair of the group - in the design to ensure that there was plenty of room for both wheelchairs and those with other mobility issues to enter and move around the cafe - including our large accessible toilet.  Large print menus are available and we are happy to cater for those with food intolerances - especially coeliacs and those on gluten-free diets plus vegetarians. 

Since 2003 we have been offering our outside catering services to business and private clients alike. Now we have a separate team of staff to work with our range of outside catering from business lunches and funeral teas right through to corporate events, weddings and top quality dinner parties.

Royal Navy Trained, head chef Paul has over 20 years experience working in hotels and restaurants and 11 years servuce in the Royal Navy.  He has cooked for Members of Parliament, Celebrities and Royalty alongside both the admiralty and the simple sailor in very large numbers!

All of our clients are equally important to us but, over the past four years we have been proud to have catered for television celebrities, senior members of the armed forces and our local Member of Parliament and have regular business contracts with a number of large well known companies.

Some of our most memorable moments have come from our work at weddings - a true privilege for every team member from pot-washer to front of house manager.  As well as running the reception itself we have quite a number of recommendations to offer on venues, and additional services couples may want to take advantage of.
